Experience in the researching or collection of information for intelligence purposes as a collector and/or as a manager of collection activities. Experience in preparing intelligence reports, briefings and delivering presentations. Experience in partnering with other law enforcement or security intelligence organizations. Challenge Provides intelligence analysis on operational, tactical and strategic enforcement issues within the national office. Trend/pattern identification and analysis of pollution legislation infractions, illegal and criminal activities. Assists in the preparation of procedures and guidelines for the national office on intelligence activities. Produces intelligence analysis from the operational, tactical and strategic information obtained from regional intelligence activities. NOTES: The major function of this position will be research and analysis. Field intelligence activities will be limited. Additional Requirements / Comments CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Must have a valid driver’s licence. Willingness to travel. Willingness to work overtime. Must pass pre-employment medical testing. May be required to undergo and pass psychological testing to assess suitability to carry restricted weapons. Must be willing to participate in training for up to 8 weeks out of the province. Must successfully complete Environment Canada’s Basic Enforcement Training course. OTHER: Eligibility lists may be established to fill similar positions.
