Sunday, April 11, 2004

24-hour after returning to Canada, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service wants to speak to two members of a family linked to al-Qaida.

Forty-seven-year-old Maha Elsamnah and her 14-year-old son, Karim Khadr, arrived Friday on a flight from Pakistan.

C-SIS wants to know if they had any recent contact with al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden.

C-SIS also wants to know if other Canadians may be involved in the terrorist network.
