Education

Useful Information

Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or another speciality relevant to the position to be staffed or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.

Experience

Experience in working in a high security communications centre in a department or agency that is part of the Canadian intelligence community.

Experience in maintaining equipment in high-end secure communications systems.

Other Merit Criteria and Conditions of Employment

  • CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT:
    Top Secret Security clearance. This factor is not used at the preselection stage. The Department is responsible for the security clearance process.
  • OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
    International travel.
    Must be able to respond to emergencies as required.
